Worthing and the surrounding towns and villages are host to a wealth of beautiful landscape and history. The area is bordered to the North by the stunning, rolling hills of the South Downs National park, and to the south by the beautiful and historic Sussex coast, attracting a wide variety of different visitors throughout the year.
The impressive scenery, and accessibility of the coastline and surrounding countryside, makes it popular for walking and cycling holidays, and with nature lovers.
The beaches of Shoreham and Littlehampton are cleaner and less busy than nearby Brighton, making them favoured with holidaying families in the summer, who also have Worthing beach and pier when they are looking for something a bit more lively for all ages. The award winning beaches are also popular water sports destinations, attracting kitesurfers, windsurfers, paddle boarders and kayakers.
The rich history of the area draws thousands of tourists each year. Arundel castle alone attracts over 180,000 visitors annually, and the towns of Steyning and Pulborough are steeped in history over 1000 years old.
In Worthing, tourism continues to increase steadily year on year and visitors are well accommodated for, with over 250 restaurants and 26 cafes. Time Out named it as the UKs best Coastal town for 2023.
In addition to tourists, Worthing is a hub for the service industries, in particular financial services, attracting many short term visitors for work and conferencing events.
The whole area is very well connected by train and is a popular base for day trippers to Brighton and even London, offering a more affordable, peaceful and family friendly destination to stay.
The ability to attract a range of different visitors throughout the year, puts the area in high demand for short-term rentals and a great opportunity for hosts!
What drew you to partnering with Pass the Keys?
Pass the Keys stood out to me over other similar companies as they offer the full package when it comes to short term let management, providing complete peace of mind for hosts and guests.
This is reflected in the excellent reviews and the success of the Pass the Keys brand around the UK, making them an industry leader, and something I wanted to be part of.
There is a great team culture at Pass the Keys and they really go the extra distance to provide all the support and tools needed for a franchise to be successful.
