Overview
Key Achievements is our way of celebrating your property's journey with Pass the Keys.
Each Key represents an important milestone – from welcoming your first guest, reaching major bookings, to review and hosting achievements. As your property grows, you'll unlock new Keys that recognise the value you've created and the success you've achieved together with Pass the Keys.
Unlike traditional achievement badges, Keys are uniquely inspired by our brand. They're designed to celebrate your progress, encourage long-term hosting success, and tell the story of your property's journey over time.
Why Key Achievements Matters
Hosting is a journey, not a single transaction – and Key Achievements is where that journey is brought to life. Every completed booking, every five-star review, and every month you partner with us adds up to something bigger: a track record you can see and be proud of.
Key Achievements gives you a running scorecard of your success with Pass the Keys, one that only grows in value the longer you host with us. It's a record of how far your property has come, and a preview of the milestones still ahead.
What You'll Find on the Page
At the top of the page, three summary figures give you an instant snapshot of your progress:
Unlocked Keys – How many milestones you've achieved so far
Partnership Tenure – How long you've been hosting with Pass the Keys. This is shown in months for your first 12 months, then switches to years
Latest Unlock – The most recent Key you've earned
Below this, your Key Achievements are grouped into categories that each celebrate a different part of your hosting journey – your booking track record, how long you've partnered with us, and the five-star experiences you've delivered for guests. As your property performs, you'll see new Keys unlock in each category: a visible, growing record of what you and Pass the Keys have built together.
Reading Your Keys
Each Key Achievement is shown as its own card, and can be in one of three states:
Achieved – Shown in full colour with a checkmark and the date you unlocked it. This Key now counts toward your Unlocked Keys total
In Progress – Shown in grey, meaning you're already working toward it and it's within reach
Locked – Shown in a muted grey, meaning it's a milestone a little further along your hosting journey
Tap or click any card to flip it over. The reverse shows exactly what's needed to unlock it, so you always know what's coming next.
How Your Keys Unlock
Key Achievements unlock automatically the moment your property reaches the milestone behind them – there's nothing you need to request or apply for.
Booking Keys – Based on your property's total completed guest bookings (owner stays and cancelled bookings aren't counted)
Hosting tenure Keys – Based on the number of months since your property went live with Pass the Keys
Guest review Keys – Based on the total number of five-star reviews your property has received
Because these are cumulative totals, once you've unlocked a Key, it's yours to keep.

No – Keys unlock automatically as soon as your property reaches the milestone behind them
Only completed guest bookings. Owner stays and cancelled bookings aren't included
Not with the Keys currently on the page – they're cumulative and permanent once unlocked. We plan to introduce performance-based Keys in future that reflect ongoing performance
Yes – we're continuing to grow the range of Keys available, so there'll always be new milestones to work toward
We currently show your Airbnb 5* guest reviews in Client Portal, and these are what we use to unlock your 5* Review Achievement Keys. We are working on adding reviews from other booking platforms in the future
